Since we all have slightly different genetics, it only makes sense that these interactions will be different from one person to the next. I can easily think of patients in my own practice who illustrate this: some feel their best if they avoid red meat, and some feel their best if they eat red meat once or twice a day.
While the field of nutrigenomics is still in its infancy, I believe that with time and further research, it will become more commonly accepted that different people need different diets.
